I love it when I am checking my email and I notice that I have gotten an online greeting card for no other reason then someone was thinking about me. I think the online greeting card sites are perfect for that. I feel a little different about getting a Christmas greeting card online. Don't get me wrong, I am happy enough to get one but I would way rather get my Christmas greeting card in the mail. There is just something special about going to the mail at the Christmas season and finding a Christmas greeting card there. I am the kind of person who tapes each and every holiday greeting card around my entryway to my kitchen. I love to display them and make them a part of my Christmas decorations. The Christmas greeting card online has to be printed off and just doesn't look as nice. I am the same way about my birthday cards. I want to find them in the mail. It makes me feel like I was worth the effort of taking the time to post it. That's not to say that I haven't sent a personalized Christmas card or two online. Usually if I do it's because I don't know the address of the person I've sent it to or I've forgotten and it's too late to put one in the regular mail.
